TMCP would like to remind managing trustees (Church Councils) that it is the time of the year when they should be thinking about submitting their Data Protection Annual Checklist to their Districts. As with previous years the deadline for submission of the Annual Checklist remains 31st May 2024.

TMCP has always promoted data protection as 'People Protection' and there was a really excellent 81% return rate for the 2023 Checklist. We thank all those managing trustees for their hard work and commitment in completing this once-a-year exercise and in demonstrating their commitment to safeguarding the personal data of all individuals associated with them.

Sarah Eason our District GDPR Champion offers support. The relevant documents have been issued to all Church Stewards via email sent 14th March 2024, but are also available from the TMCP web site or from Sarah.
