Webteam: January 2017
David and Gill Sarbutts will be running, walking, hobbling or crawling the 26.2 miles of the 2017 London Marathon on 23 April and they will be raising funds for VICTA (Visually Impaired Children Taking Action). Their target is £1350 and Freddie, one of their grandchildren, who is registered partially sighted, will be one of those children who will benefit from the money the charity raises. The charity does amazing things with those who have a visual impairment but as with all charities they could do with more funds so that a greater number of children can benefit from their activities.
More information about VICTA can be found on its website www.victa.org.uk
David and Gill are inviting individuals to sponsor them and if you feel this is something you can do, you will find their fundraising account at:
http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/giving/make-a-donation/ and type in David Sarbutts when it asks for a name.
They will be hosting a coffee and cake morning at High Street on 4 February and they will greatly value any support you feel able to give them.
