Garage sale

We had a great time at the annual Mammoth Garage Sale in May, which was a tremendous success. It was truly a community event and brought in people not only from the village, but much farther afield with many people visiting the church for the first time. There was a good community atmosphere in the village So much so that it almost brought the village to a standstill. The weather was kind and everyone or the 26 garages who took part reported that they had done well. Many enjoyed just walking around the village chatting and getting to know new people. The result for the Church Building Fund was a massive £635. We are very grateful to all who took part or helped in any way to achieve this magnificent result. We are hoping to make it bigger and better next year so, never mind booking holidays or visiting great-aunt Mildred, put the date in your diary now.
